Just a small update just to keep my "every week is an update" philosophy :) This is a magazine image for XL Bygg ( a scandinavian (atleast) store) ordered by TBWA. We've done a few of these, but I'm not gonna dig that deep for the time being ;) (made together with mikael noguchi)
It´s nice to be able to post some more summer-images :)
This time it´s a concept image for a vignette made by Øyedrops. You can see the final result they made here. Basicly it´s supposed to look like a glamorized feel of the norwegian summer and beach.
Hello again, just wanted to make another weekly update :) These are 4 sketches of some scenes that I thought would be suitable to post now because of the summer being here :) - for something that never turned out into anything. They were intended to look a bit 60´s detective book illustrations. It was fin trying something different. Hope you like it. You can find 3 more in the Environments section
Hello, as I mentioned on my previous post, I was going to have some fun recording myself painting. So, yeah, I made my first YouTube video! My kid was nagging for attention, the camera was rolling and I tried my best to focus on the painting, what a stressful feeling. But atleast I managed to make something :D
Funny thing though is that I spent 10 times as much time trying to get it onto YouTube with proper video settings, I guess I must be stupid or something, since the whole world just dumps stuff into YouTube with no problems at all. I chose a rather non-original motif. I thought, if I'm going to make a video, it should be of something that appeals to non-art-geeks as well. I loved the movie Avatar of course, so why not do something inspired by that. I was surprised, but it should have been obvious, that there's already a thousand videos on YouTube doing the exact same thing. Oh, well, at least I tried to build up my painting in a proper way, not just sit and detail a traced sketch straight off a still-image from the film, like all the others do. It took me about 15 minutes to paint this. If anyone find it entertaining I might make another...we'll see how the hits go, make sure to spread it out to friends and people!

Added another environment I did a while back. Check it in the Environments gallery. At the moment I´m working on a some speed paint videos, I though that could be a fun replacement for my old tutorials which I won´t revive again - they are way out of date :) Anyway, we´ll see how it goes, maybe it will be my next update? :) Until next time, take care.
